Off to war in Frontline: Road to Moscow. You fight as part of the German army, taking on some of the biggest battles their side has seen. It takes you from 1941 through late 1944, having you face many similar challenges they were in at the time. Your goal is Moscow. To get there, though, you have to complete missions, battle, and tear your way through the Allied forces. This is no easy job, however. You have a lot of forces to control and an immense power in front of you. To get to your destination, you will need to put everything you have into securing victory.


Most games like this will have you going to war using a specific type of vehicle. Maybe tank or aircraft or warship, but there is not much else to it. Frontline: Road to Moscow, however, has you fighting on land, in the air, and in the sea. It is a strategy game where you must conquer your enemies on all fronts to win. This means that you need to up your strategy a bit before starting this game. You will have to develop a detailed strategy that goes into depth with everything that you have to do. You will have to evolve with it as you move forward, as well.

Evolving with your strategy is easy in Frontline: Road to Moscow. You have over 100 units here and you can unlock units as you progress through the game. The better you are, and the further into the game that you get, the more you have available to you. Unlock everything and continue to upgrade what you have.

You are not just fighting random battles. Frontline: Road to Moscow has 30 battle scenarios that you will play through on your move across the Eastern front. This will take you through countries, across battles, and against the biggest foes you have ever faced. All of these missions are inspired by actual historic events, too. From trench wars to recovering documents, you are going to do it all and you are going to feel as if you are part of one of the most important parts of history. Frontline: Road to Moscow is really easy to start playing. If you have little experience with real time strategy games, you should have no trouble jumping right into this title. It is straightforward and simple, giving you the basic mechanics and features that you need. This is not to say that it is boring or lacking, however. It still accomplishes its goal of bringing you across the Eastern front of the war, fighting as the Germans on your way to Moscow. It is a lot of fun, just without the complexity you normally see in these games.
