Challenging missions

Tons of bugs and glitches

Playing Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising is like running into a war and trying to figure out what it is you have to do. It is a war simulation game with a modern setting, and it is very different from similar console titles. Of course, it is hard to say that there is anything similar for the console.

Games like Call of Duty are incredibly different from this because it places you in a world that is supposed to be like real life. Your decisions heavily affect your life and the smallest mistake can kill you. It is as if you are in a real war, and you have to be careful about every move that you make.

Operation 8

Being a war strategy game, Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising is going to be full of dangers. It is not the type of game where you hide behind a wall and wait until you can shoot the enemies, then just run while bullets are coming at you from every direction. Doing that here will likely get you killed.

In fact, you can die by a single bullet, making it even more intense and difficult. You have to watch every move that you make if you plan to succeed. Mistakes lead to death, which can be quick here.

Operation 11

Your war is a little in the future. It is Russia against China, and you are on Russia’s side. You are there to assist them in battles fueled by oil concerns, and it is your job to get the Chinese out of their country. Doing so might be difficult, and it will be, but it is going to be full of excitement. You are going to be playing through numerous campaign missions in an effort to take out the enemy and help Russia.

The real excitement in Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising is not the campaign missions, but the game play. The intensity of the game and how you have to play out every move carefully makes this far more enjoyable.
